Organizations

Organizations are the foundation of ChatCrafterAI. All agents must belong to an organization. Think of an organization as your workspace for managing agents, billing, and settings.

What is an Organization?

An organization is a workspace that contains:
  • All your agents organized in one place
  • Subscription and billing for all your agents
  • Unified settings including integrations and webhooks
  • Analytics dashboard showing metrics across all agents
Each organization is completely isolated from others. Agents, data, and billing are never shared between organizations. This makes it perfect for managing multiple brands or client accounts separately.

Your Organization

When you sign up for ChatCrafterAI, an organization is automatically created for you. This happens during your first login. What you’ll set up:
  • Organization name - Your company or team name (e.g., “Acme Corp”, “Smith Marketing Agency”)
  • Organization slug - URL-friendly identifier (auto-generated but customizable)
You can change these settings later in SettingsOrganizationGeneral. Note: Currently, each account has one organization. All your agents will belong to this organization.

Organization Settings

Access organization settings in SettingsOrganization:

General Settings

  • Organization name - Change your organization’s display name
  • Organization slug - URL identifier (contact support to change)

Integrations

  • Webhook endpoints - Configure webhooks for your agents
  • Third-party integrations - Connect Stripe, Shopify, Zendesk, etc.

Subscription & Billing

Each organization has its own subscription. Manage your subscription at SettingsSubscription:
  • Current plan - View your active plan (Free, Starter, Growth, Business, or Enterprise)
  • Usage limits - See your agent count and message usage
  • Billing cycle - Choose monthly or annual billing
  • Upgrade/Downgrade - Change plans as needed
  • Payment method - Update credit card via Stripe billing portal
  • Cancel subscription - Cancel or reactivate your plan

Troubleshooting

Can’t Create Organization

Issue: “Create Organization” option is grayed out Solution: Free plans may limit the number of organizations. Check your plan limits or contact support.

Can’t Switch Organizations

Issue: Organization not appearing in dropdown Solutions:
  • Refresh the page (Ctrl+R or Cmd+R)
  • Log out and log back in
  • Contact support if the issue persists

Common Questions

How many organizations can I create? Currently, each account has 1 organization that is created automatically when you sign up. Can I transfer agents between organizations? Agent transfer features are planned for future releases. What happens to agents if I delete an organization? All agents, conversation history, and data are permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone. Export data first if needed. Can I rename an organization? Yes, you can change the organization name in Settings → Organization → General.
