Dashboard Tour

Your dashboard is mission control. Here’s what you’ll find when you log in to ChatCrafterAI.

Main Dashboard Layout

After logging in, you’re redirected to your agent management page. Here’s the layout: The sidebar contains two main sections: Navigation Items:
  • Agents - View and manage all your AI agents
  • Account & Billing - Manage subscription and billing
User Profile Section (Bottom):
  • Avatar - Your profile picture or initials
  • User name and email - Your account information
  • Tier badge - Shows your current plan and agent count
  • Theme toggle - Switch between Light, Dark, or System theme
  • Account Settings - Link to account settings page
  • Sign out - Log out of your account
The sidebar is collapsible on desktop and becomes a mobile drawer on smaller screens.

Center Area (Agent Management)

Agent Cards Grid showing all your agents with:
  • Agent name and domain icon
  • Active/Inactive status badge
  • AI provider badge (OpenAI, Groq, Anthropic, Gemini, Ollama)
  • Agent description (2-line preview)
  • Message count statistics
  • Model name, creation date, and temperature setting
  • Configure button - Edit agent settings
  • Play/Pause button - Activate or deactivate agent
  • More menu - Additional options (settings, archive)
Archived Agents Section (for paid plans):
  • View archived agents separately
  • Restore archived agents (within tier limits)
  • Delete archived agents permanently
Empty State (when no agents exist):
  • Shows welcome message
  • “Create Agent” call-to-action button

Creating Your First Agent

When you first log in, ChatCrafterAI automatically creates a default organization and may create your first agent for you. You can create additional agents by:
  1. Clicking the “Create Agent” button
  2. Following the agent creation wizard (covered in Your First Agent)
The creation process includes:
  • Naming your agent
  • Setting agent personality and domain
  • Adding knowledge base (optional)
  • Selecting templates (optional)

Agent Status Indicators

Each agent card shows its current status:
  • Active - Agent is live and responding to messages
  • Inactive - Agent is paused and not responding

Settings Pages

Access settings from the sidebar user profile section:

Account Settings

Navigate to Settings → Account to view:
  • Email Address - Your registered email
  • Full Name - Your display name
  • Account Created - When you joined ChatCrafterAI
  • Current Plan - Your subscription tier with manage link
  • Account ID - Your unique account identifier
  • Danger Zone - Delete your account permanently

Subscription & Billing

Navigate to Account & Billing from the sidebar to:
  • View current plan - See your active subscription tier
  • Usage statistics - Agent count and message usage
  • Billing cycle - Toggle between monthly/annual billing
  • Upgrade/Downgrade - Change your plan
  • Payment method - Update credit card via Stripe
  • Cancel subscription - Cancel or reactivate your plan
  • Billing history - View past invoices and payments

Quick Navigation Tips

  • Sidebar toggle - Collapse/expand sidebar to maximize workspace
  • Mobile menu - Use hamburger button (bottom-right) on mobile devices
  • Theme preference - Changes apply immediately across the dashboard
  • Responsive design - Dashboard adapts to any screen size
